My heart was a barren land
Fertile feelings craving for love
All disguised and hidden beneath
Projecting the rough infertile surface
People passed by in life
One look and turned their faces
No one thought it was worth investing
In the land which looked so dry
You came in my life knight in armour
Ready to fight the battle extreme
With virtue of patience you made your move
Looking for fissure on barren land
You poured your feelings in those cracks
Letting them heal at their own pace
Rains of your love enriched the soil
Sunshine of your smile giving strength
Your faith and trust holding as roots
Winning the battle over barren land
Barren land was thing in past
You had courage to dig it deep
Finding the treasure of hidden love
Spilling now the fountain of feelings
I don’t have any answers for my love
Nor do I quest for the question why
I just feel fertile in my soul

Barren land is a concept where people think it is uselesss or not worth. But luv can conquer that impossible and make it fertile with the true faith, understanding and constant flow of feelings like a fountain.
